Hypogonadism can be a terrible thing to live with. However, there is a solution. For this certain patient, that solution proved to be well worth their time. A case study published by the BMJ Case Reports has reported that a 34-year-old man suffering from hypogonadism managed to nearly double the size of his penis by undergoing testosterone replacement therapy.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)

Testosterone replacement therapy is an effective and easy treatment that nullifies low t symptoms. By artificially re-balancing the patient’s testosterone levels, TRT can be the difference between a high and a low quality of life for many suffering from hypogonadism.

In the case study mentioned above, a 34-year-old man suffered underdeveloped sexual organs due to his early onset hypogonadism. Consequently, the man’s penis size measured at only 1.9 inches. Beyond that, the man’s testicles were recorded as being roughly half the size of an average male’s.

As reported by IFLscience, the patient began taking hormone injections for a total of nine months to combat his low testosterone levels. The man’s penis length nearly doubled within that time frame, having grown to 3.7 inches.

The man’s testicles also roughly doubled in size. Hypogonadism is more common in aging men, but can occur in young adults or even during fetal development. The condition, also known as low t, occurs when the body is no longer capable of producing healthy levels of the sex hormone testosterone.

Consequently, patients suffering from low t may experience a bevy of nasty symptoms. Hair loss, muscle loss, fatigue, increased body fat, erectile dysfunction and depression are all recorded symptoms of hypogonadism.

In the end, it is always important to consult medical professionals if you believe you may be suffering from low t symptoms. If it is determined that you suffer from low t, testosterone replacement therapy may be able to help.
