P-Shot

The P-Shot, or Priapus Shot, is non-surgical a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection that is used to treat erectile dysfunction and improve sexual performance in men. The treatment was invented by Dr. Charles Runels, who has successfully performed the procedure for the past decade. The shot is composed of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is derived from the patient’s own blood. PRP is known to promote tissue regeneration and healing, and it has been used effectively to treat a variety of medical conditions. In the case of the P-Shot, PRP is used to help improve blood flow, sensation and restore erectile function.

The P-Shot is injected into the penis using a very fine needle. The whole procedure only takes a few minutes and is painless. Local anesthetic is used to numb the area before injection, so you shouldn’t feel any pain during the procedure. When injected into the penis, PRP helps to increase blood flow, leading to improved erections. It can also improve sensation and increase the size of the penis.

The P-Shot is a quick and simple procedure that takes less than 30 minutes to perform and you may notice an improvement in your sexual function within a few days. However, it can take up to a few weeks for patients to notice a difference. The results of the P-Shot are not always immediate, and it may take some time for the nutrients in the PRP to stimulate new cell growth. For some men, this process can take a few weeks, while for others it may take up to a month. In general, most men notice an improvement in the quality of their erections after about 6 weeks.

PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood, so there is little no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. And while the procedure is generally safe, there are a few potential side effects that should be taken into consideration. These include minor bruising, swelling, and redness at the injection site, though these side effects are usually mild and resolve on their own. Overall, the P-Shot is considered to be a very safe and effective treatment for sexual dysfunction in men.

Although the P-Shot is a fairly new procedure, there is some evidence to suggest that it can also be effective to increase size. A small study found that the P-Shot improved length and girth by an average of 1.5 inches. The study also found that the treatments improved sexual function and sensitivity.

The P-Shot has shown to be successful in treating a variety of conditions, including milder cases of Peyronie’s disease. Although originally used as a treatment to help with penis size and erectile function, research suggests that it also may lead to improved firmness and elasticity of the penis due to tissue regeneration.

There is no upper age limit for the P-Shot, but the typical patient age is between 18 and 55 years old. It can also be used as a preventative measure to preserve erectile function as men age.

The effects of the P-Shot typically last for several months. However, the exact length of time will vary depending on the individual. There are a number of factors that can affect how long the effects of the treatment will last, including the person’s age, health, and lifestyle.

Some men report that the effects last for up to two years, while others find that they need to have the shots more frequently. The good news is that the P-Shot is a relatively quick and easy procedure, so it can be easily repeated as needed. Additionally, many men find that the effects of the P-Shot continue to improve with each subsequent treatment.

The P-Shot is typically administered every 6 to 12 months in order to maintain optimal results. However, some patients may need more frequent treatments due to individual factors such as age and medical history. Ultimately, how often you need the P-Shot will depend on your own personal response to the treatment.

The P-Shot has been shown to be an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction and other sexual dysfunctions. In a study of 100 men with erectile dysfunction, 90% of participants reported improvements in their erections after receiving the P-Shot. In addition, 88% of participants reported an improvement in their overall sexual function. The P-Shot can also be used to treat Peyronie’s disease, a condition that causes the development of painful curvature of the penis. In a study of 30 men with Peyronie’s disease, 70% of participants reported improvements in their symptoms after receiving the P-Shot.

While the P-Shot is a highly effective treatment for erectile dysfunction, there are some factors that can reduce its effectiveness.

  • Lack of exercise
  • Vascular disease
  • Uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure
  • History of heart attack, coronary artery disease
  • Not using the prescribed penis pump, for at least six weeks

In addition, certain medications can interfere with the body’s ability to use the P-Shot effectively. These include blood thinners, antiplatelet drugs, and some heart medications.

The cost of the P-Shot can vary depending on the number of treatments needed. Our office also accepts most private health insurance policies as they may cover parts of the treatment.  However, the majority of patients feel the investment in their sexual health and improved sexual function is worth the out of pocket cost.
