Although there’s plenty of information available in our FAQ, there are also many articles published each day discussing why a lot of men don’t have the same energy levels they used to. Simply put, your test levels drop off as you age and that can start pretty early for a lot of males.

“Beginning at age 30, testosterone levels drop, on average, about 1 percent a year,” said a recent article in the Heald Tribune. “About 5 percent of men between the ages of 50 and 59 have low levels of testosterone along with symptoms such as loss of libido and sluggishsdness, according to a few small studies.”

Low T can really kill your energy, sex drive and even make you depressed. A lot of men aren’t thinking about their testosterone levels dropping while they’re still fairly young, but the symptoms are still real. Other than the natural aging process, there are a few other activities/things that can lower testosterone in men.

Stress/Anxiety, extreme endurance exercises, like marathons or cycling for long distances, and triathlon training can all lower your testosterone levels. So there a many different reasons why it could drop, and a lot of different symptoms that accompany them. That’s just another good reason to get checked out.
